Senior Show & Celebration 2018 Concept
PCA&D BFA PROJECT, OCTOBER 2017
This project is to brand and promote PCA&D's annual Senior Show & Celebration that is held on the first Friday of every May after the graduation ceremony. Every year is different and my job was to come up with a new idea to brand the show that reflects the school and the students. To create a personal challenge, I wanted to push my illustration skills for this project and combine it with my design skills for a more artistic piece. I illustrated several buildings found in Lancaster City which reflects upon the location and the idea that "the city is our campus," which is a statement that PCA&D prides itself on. I also wanted to showcase a little bit of my hand lettering skills with the title of the piece and pair it with a more blocky and stable slab serif font. Over the several pieces, I have kept the theme, textures, and other elements similar to create one cohesive brand for the 2018 Senior Show.
